It's gonna be interesting (to say the least) to read President Eisenhowers military adviser Philip J. Corso's upcoming boook entitled "The Day After Roswell", which
he has co-written with William J. Birnes (published by Pocket Books and available in July).
In the book Corso, who left the army in 1965, that he flew over the Roswell crashsite (he doesn't say which site thou...) the day after the Roswell-incident occured. During his
service in Washington, under the Kennedy administration, he claims to have found documents that correlates the incident along with some debris as an attachment in the
size of half a playcard. The document pointed to the Roswell-incident.He also found something that looked like a computor-chip. All this was handled over to the Rand
Corporation.
Four years ago Corso met with a group of UFOlogists in Roswell and at the time he had a pile of documents and a notebook with him, a notebook that he was very unwilling
to show to anyone... But one of the UFOlogists had a peak and saw an unusual drawing of an alien eye with something that lloked like nine concentrated circles behind the black
eyelense.
WUFOC has looked into Mr Corso's military records and, as far as I see, he checks out (19 medals). And as recent as September 1996 he stood infront of a Pow-Wow-comitte and
testified about still missing US soldiers since the Korean war
(he was the head adviser to Eisenhower as the President decided to leave US soldiers behind in Korean hands, with consequence of US soldiers being shipped to China and USSR.
This makes it even more interesting as he four years ago claimed that he had been part of a secret unit called the Interplanetary Phenomenon Unit, or IPU
[can be found in Timothy Good's "Above Top Secret" as an elite UFO-researchgroup within the scientific and technical branch of the security council, staged by
general George C. Marshall in 1947 and claimed dispersed in 1950.
In the promotext for the book we find:
"This landmark expose puts the controversy about the famous crash of an unidentified aircraft to rest with conclusive proof about its extraterrestrial origin."
"Backed by newly declassified documents, Colonel Corso (ret.) reveals his personal stewardship of alien artifacts from the crash, how these items changed the
course of twentieth century history, and the U.S. government's astonishing role in covering up the incident. Laying bare some of the government's most closely
guarded secrets, "The Day After Roswell" forces us to reconsider our past, as well as our role in the universe."
"To help celebrate Roswell's fiftieth anniversary, {the Publisher] will kick off the book's publication with an event at the site of the crash. Corso will walk
the media through the crash site while providing never-before-heard documentation surrounding extraterrestrial artifacts and government cover-ups."
If this will see the light of day - why does he do it? And if it's true, why isn't he stopped by his former boss - the military? And most important - who will benefit on the chaos
this will trigger? Time will tell.
