Truth, lies and rumours...

'When one of truth's protective layers are removed
there are places to go and things to know and see beyond belief' ....

(Neil Armstrong quote)

The year 2000 has come...and gone.

As we approach the change of the millennium we will see more of these suicides like the Heavens Gate-incident in Canada recently. Despite that the year 2000 is belived to have already passed us!
During the 7th century the Pope put a munk named Dionysius Exiguus on the job to settle a Christian chronology of which year Jesus Christ was born (before this the years were "floating" or we had used the Roman calender) and appearantly he missed it by 4-7 years, according to many history-researchers. So, the year 2000 was probably in 1993-1996.
And to even push the belief of suicide-sects further down the road, Heavens Gate said that they wanted to hitch-hike with the same "craft" as Jesus and his father went by with last time - Hale Bop.
But as Hale Bop only passes Earth every 3000 years (I wonder how Courtney Brown feels today) I guess they missed out totally in math. And it's almost 3 years left till the millennium... sorry! Year 2007, with room for much more madness...

UFO-book for youngsters

The writer Larry Kettelkamp has written a book called "ETs and UFO's: Are They Real?" that turns to a young buyer. Another trick to ride the X-Files wave?
The book brings up the Roswell case, Cash-Lundrum, Bentwaters and a number of others. As number 1 in a series of 3 the book has been dedicated to Pat Marcattillio at the UFO/ET World Travelling Museum and Library of Scientific Anomalies. You can also find both MUFON and CUFOS as consultants.

Will Corso turn UFOlogy upside-down?

It's gonna be interesting (to say the least) to read President Eisenhowers military adviser Philip J. Corso's upcoming boook entitled "The Day After Roswell", which he has co-written with William J. Birnes (published by Pocket Books and available in July).

In the book Corso, who left the army in 1965, that he flew over the Roswell crashsite (he doesn't say which site thou...) the day after the Roswell-incident occured. During his service in Washington, under the Kennedy administration, he claims to have found documents that correlates the incident along with some debris as an attachment in the size of half a playcard. The document pointed to the Roswell-incident.He also found something that looked like a computor-chip. All this was handled over to the Rand Corporation.

Four years ago Corso met with a group of UFOlogists in Roswell and at the time he had a pile of documents and a notebook with him, a notebook that he was very unwilling to show to anyone... But one of the UFOlogists had a peak and saw an unusual drawing of an alien eye with something that lloked like nine concentrated circles behind the black eyelense.

WUFOC has looked into Mr Corso's military records and, as far as I see, he checks out (19 medals). And as recent as September 1996 he stood infront of a Pow-Wow-comitte and testified about still missing US soldiers since the Korean war (he was the head adviser to Eisenhower as the President decided to leave US soldiers behind in Korean hands, with consequence of US soldiers being shipped to China and USSR. This makes it even more interesting as he four years ago claimed that he had been part of a secret unit called the Interplanetary Phenomenon Unit, or IPU [can be found in Timothy Good's "Above Top Secret" as an elite UFO-researchgroup within the scientific and technical branch of the security council, staged by general George C. Marshall in 1947 and claimed dispersed in 1950.

In the promotext for the book we find:

"This landmark expose puts the controversy about the famous crash of an unidentified aircraft to rest with conclusive proof about its extraterrestrial origin."

"Backed by newly declassified documents, Colonel Corso (ret.) reveals his personal stewardship of alien artifacts from the crash, how these items changed the course of twentieth century history, and the U.S. government's astonishing role in covering up the incident. Laying bare some of the government's most closely guarded secrets, "The Day After Roswell" forces us to reconsider our past, as well as our role in the universe."

"To help celebrate Roswell's fiftieth anniversary, {the Publisher] will kick off the book's publication with an event at the site of the crash. Corso will walk the media through the crash site while providing never-before-heard documentation surrounding extraterrestrial artifacts and government cover-ups."

If this will see the light of day - why does he do it? And if it's true, why isn't he stopped by his former boss - the military? And most important - who will benefit on the chaos this will trigger? Time will tell.

    Dr. Greer threatens Clinton

Dr. Steven Greer at the CSETI (Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence) threatens President Clinton and the governments of the world (as his previous threats hasn't been answered) to tell "the truth about UFO's and the whole cover up". He says that he intends to let high ranked military personel among the security-forces, who is ready to braek their oath, testify of their knowledge on the subject. And he belives that this will have great effect when it comes to the recognition of UFO's as "real".

but I still can't forget the sight of Dr Greer galloping over the plains of Mexico, with the filmteam running side by side, shouting that a UFO has landed behind the hill, only to find a group of camping teenagers with a fire.
